Centered on five fields—education, welfare (society), psychology, health, and expressive culture—we provide comprehensive study and research on children, and foster highly practical “child specialists” who can respond to contemporary educational issues and the needs of the times and society.

Using theories and methods of psychology, we foster individuals who can understand the minds and behaviors of children from infancy through adolescence, and who acquire the knowledge and skills to support their development, enabling them to work in the fields of education, welfare, healthcare, as well as in corporate settings.

Through studying education and human development from various perspectives, students acquire the humanity and teaching skills necessary to understand children's feelings. We foster educators equipped with advanced teaching skills and deep human understanding, as well as professionals in the corporate sector who possess educational knowledge.

By gaining a cross-disciplinary understanding of a wide range of fields—including education, child studies, psychology, and ICT—students learn about educational media such as teaching materials, toys, and books, as well as their creation using video, audio and text. We foster individuals who can play active roles in the fields of education and media production.

We foster individuals who acquire the specialized knowledge required for early childhood and primary education and care, from infancy through childhood, along with rich humanity and a strong sense of ethics. These individuals develop the leadership qualities and practical skills needed in the fields of early childhood and elementary education, as well as infant and child welfare.

By introducing a new style of learning that utilizes online resources, students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to support the healthy development of children. We seek individuals with diverse experiences beyond the boundaries of age and gender, and aim to create a new model of specialists in primary education.
